Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Falcons Keeping Busy!

In our fortnightly home learning task, we encouraged the children to create their own obstacle course in their gardens.

Some children took this a step further and set themselves a new goal. Micah was unable to skip using a skipping rope, however, he persevered and is now a pro!

We have an update on Micah's caterpillars! Four of his caterpillars are now in chrysalises...

Micah shared with us what he did to get the chrysalises into the net enclosure.

Creating a candle using beeswax. Here Micah shows us how he rolled the beeswax around the wick as well as the finished product!

I have used my time in lock down to to do one of my great loves, cross stitching! My project at the moment is a replica of a famous painting by Gustav Klimt, titled "The Kiss".

The first picture is when I began back in March with a copy of the finished product. The second is the current state of completion.

I have thoroughly enjoyed receiving your work and photographs and seeing how you are keeping busy! I look forward to seeing more in the future.
