Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Glorious Gurdwara!

This week, we had the pleasure of visiting the Gurdwara. We found out lots of information about Sikhism and were able to explore the beautiful building.

We marvelled at the decoration and the amount of resources and dedication which went into the completion of this exquisite place of worship.

We were very fortunate to have a knowledgable guide who answered many of our questions and told us lots about the history of Sikhism, as well as the role of the Gurdwara in the community.

The warm welcome we received included being able to take part in a communal meal known as langar which was enjoyed by all.

We are grateful to Mrs. Sodhi for joining us on our visit and sharing her knowledge with us.
