Pumpkins!

This term we have been reading Pattan's Pumpkin

As the pumpkin grows bigger and bigger, we decided to investigate what a pumpkin is.

As researchers, we decided the first thing we should do was to gather information about pumpkins. We did this by reading fact sheets and watching documentaries.

The next part we conducted was to experience the squash family which the pumpkin belongs to. We were able to use our senses to describe what it feels, smells and looks like.

Once our research was completed we created an information poster to share what we had found out.

What can your child tell you about pumpkins?
