Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Space Day!

'That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind' - Neil Armstrong

We were very pleased with the opportunity to immerse ourselves in all things space! As our topic is 'People from the Past', this term we have started looking at Neil Armstrong. We spent the day as astronauts, aliens and different galaxies.

We learnt that Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon! WOW! We made rockets that we could send to the moon. Then, we watched a video of an actual spacecraft taking off. We were very impressed! Afterwards, we were able to pretend we were landing on the moon. We had great fun!

Ask us what  we know about Neil Armstrong?
