Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Does no pens mean no work?

What an unusual day we have had!

We were told by all of our teachers that no children or staff were going to use pens today...

...we all thought 'yes' no writing for us!

However, that did not happen!

Our teachers created many fun and engaging learning activities for us that we forgot how to hold a pencil!

"My hair matches the leaves. It's a yellow colour."
"It's round ,my face is round."

We went onto the playground and field to create self portraits using natural materials. We even used mirrors to help us place our hair and facial features in the right place.

"I need lots of leaves for all of my hair."

We have enjoyed No Pens Tuesday and are looking forward to the next!
