Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Alien creation

This week we made our own cupcakes, then decorated them to look like aliens.

Our aliens were very friendly and tasted yummy too!

We had to get all of our ingredients ready before we could make our cupcakes.

We weighed our ingredients to make sure we used the correct amount.

First we added butter and sugar, then we mixed in egg.

We put the cupcake cases into the baking tray.

Why do you think we used cases, instead of pouring the ingredients straight in?

We worked together and took turns to make sure all of the ingredients were mixed thoroughly.

"Your turn now."

We decorated our cupcakes to look like Aliens.

We were very good at copying the design from another cake.

Sometimes we worked together to help each other.

"You need eyes"

Finally we took our aliens home and ate them. Yum yum!
