Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

The aliens have landed!

This week we have been exploring more about our topic 'Space'.

We have been singing songs about the different planets and five little men in a flying saucer, making rockets out of different shapes and using our fine motor skills to create space related art.

We created and stuck together hats to make ourselves look like aliens.

"I have two wiggly eyes!"

Perhaps you could create a hat for an astronaut.

We painted our hands and put them on the paper to create spaceships with aliens in.

What colour do you get if you mix yellow and blue together?

We all had different ideas of what our spaceships and aliens would look like.

Sometimes our adults had ideas and we tried to copy them.

"I see you."

We looked around our classroom using magnifying glasses to help us.

Have you seen an alien?

We used different shapes to design our own spaceships.

Which shape has three sides?
