Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Poetry, Poetry, Poetry

This year Holy Trinity CE Primary School participated in the National Book Trust Poetry Competition. We had a grand total of fifty seven(57) pupils participating in our in-house workshops!

Why wait? We conducted our own competition and Miss Coulam judged the entries.   We were all very pleased with the number of entrants from all years which included a large number lots of boys. Awesome job boys!

Many pupils wrote or edited their work at home, showing dedication and perseverance. Quite a few submitted more than one piece, but we were only allowed to send off to the Book Trust one entry per year group.

We have yet to hear from the National Book Trust, but in the meantime we've celebrated with 6 winners and a special mention.
