Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Doughy Divas!

This week we have been investigating the meaning of the Hindu festival of Diwali.

Mrs. Bayliss made us all some playdough and we made our own diva lamp.

First we took our ball of dough and flattened it.

Next we pushed our thumbs in the middle to start to bring up the sides.

Then we pinched the sides in and completed our design.

Here are some of our finished lamps - all different and all beautifully made - just like us!
