Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Preparation for the pyramid

This week has been very exciting, with our Egyptian workshop and mummifying each other.

We really enjoyed trying to mummify each other!

It was more difficult than we thought! (Thank you for the donations of toilet roll.)

On Tuesday we had our Egyptian workshop, where we learnt about how to mummify a pharaoh, placing their organs in canopic jars.  We also acted out lots of Egyptian scenes showing what life would have been like in Ancient Egypt.

We ended the week having a gallery of the pyramids we have been making at home.  One was even edible.  Well done everybody!
