Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

From field to fork

Our learning this week has taken us around the world to see where food comes from.

Our topic this term is called 'What's on the menu'.  As part of this we have been learning where our food comes from and the processes that it must go through before we eat it.

As we have learnt a lot about farming we decided to create our own 3D models of farms.

Kestrels chose to make nets for their structures and created 3D versions of farms.

Skylarks took a different route to creating their farms and used any art materials they could find around the school.

We have created some amazing master pieces and really enjoyed the team work that was needed to create such wonderful 3D creations.

Next week we will be trying to follow some bread recipes, why not follow our progress to see more of our creations?
