Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Basket making...

Our book this term is 'One Plastic Bag' by Miranda Paul. The book gives us insight into the pollution problem in Gambia and how a team of women decided to combat this problem.

In English this week, we have been discussing what makes a good basket. The children were then given different materials to explore and rationalise why they would choose a particular material to make their basket.

Look at our baskets!!
