Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Rose Blanche Drama!

This term we are reading the book 'Rose Blanche', which is based in World War 2 in Germany.

We have been exploring the introduction of the book, where Rose and the other characters are seeing their soldiers off to war.

Swifts and Falcons re-enacted the 'superhero' status, the soldiers were given by the civilians at that time.

Dramatising the shouts and cheers of the civilians and the responses from the leaving, soldiers.

Soldiers winked and waved at the people from their trucks.
