Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

How Humans Work!

This term, our topic is How Humans Work! We were fortunate that one of our mum's Jacquie Taylor, is a radiographer! She works at a few hospitals not only looking at x-rays but she was able to show us some fantastic CAT scans of our organs too!

She showed us parts of our digestive system on a CAT scan of a real person!!

This is an x-ray of Eloise's dad's knee. He had to have a special operation to fix his knee. In the x-ray, you can see the pins he had put in to help him.

A big thank you to Jacquie for volunteering to come in and share her amazing knowledge with us!! We were captivated!
