Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Let us light the way!

This week in our science sessions, we used our understanding of circuits and electricity to build a torch. We used recycled drinks bottles and circuit materials.

After some discussions we got busy designing the torches thinking about all the features we wanted to include.

Next, we used the plans to help us during the construction phase.

We encountered many problems such as difficulties in cutting through the plastic. However, we were determined to not give up.  We powered on!!

Look at our magnificent, illuminating torches!
