Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

God Created Jellyfish

During this term in R.E. we have been learning about creation and all things God has created. We learned that as God is the creator of the world, hence is a VIP.

We spoke about Very Important People (VIP's) in our lives.

"My nanny and mummy"

"My mummy because she makes food for me"

Who is a VIP in your life?

We read a story about two Christian children, Tom and Tessa. In the story Tom liked jelly and Tessa liked Jellyfish, so they created a Jellyfish using jelly.

As we like Jellyfish as well, we created it in our classrooms.

We used lots of different materials to create them.

"It is so colourful!"

We used a "scrunch, dip, stick" technique

"These are called tentacles"

"We can also make Jellyfish using toys by putting them in the shape of a fish."

Do you know of a different way to make Jellyfish?
