During this term in R.E. we have been learning about a promise and why it is important to keep it.
We spoke about how it is not fair for one person to be treated differently to the others. We dressed one child up with a special cape, a hat and also gave her a wand. The other children just had one item each. Do you think it's fair?
" It's not fair!" - Anaya
We then read a Bible story called 'The Dreamer' and acted it out.
Joseph's brothers were jealous!Joseph was happy to get a special coat and have special dreams. The brothers were unhappy and decided to make a plan to get rid of Joseph. They sold Joseph to some traders who took him to Egypt.
God was however still watching over Joseph and looked after him as he had promised.
We then designed rainbow coats for the other brothers and took them home to share with our families!
