Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

A home for a bug!

This week in reception we have been learning all about bugs and their habitats (I know that is a big word!) We have been looking at Ladybird habitats!

Did you know they live in grasslands and woodlands?

We then created pictures of a ladybirds habitat using various materials.

Have a look at our beautiful creations!

We used different coloured card!
" That is the grass"
We carefully cut our resources using the scissors. Scissors can be dangerous if you are not safe with them.
Did you know that?
" We are making a Ladybird's habitat"
" I'm making a home for my ladybird"
"That's my ladybird. It is red with black spots."

What do you think of our habitat that we have created for the Ladybird?
