Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

The value of love

This week we have focused on our school value love.

We hope you hung the heart wreaths we made and enjoyed the heart biscuits we baked.

We added butter, sugar and flour into a bowl.
We took it in turns to stir the ingredients with a spoon.
We mixed it until it was smooth and we could roll it into a ball.
We rolled it out flat and used cutters to make heart shapes.
We pricked the hearts using a fork and sprinkled sugar onto them.
Then we put them in the oven to bake.

What is your favourite food to bake?
